Caribbean Flights from Denver for UNDER $300

(1m 21s read) If you're ready to trade landlocked-living for a tropical paradise, I've just found two options you might want to consider for your summer getaway. Both options depart from Denver International Airport, a perfect, major travel hub for people from surrounding states in the month of August.

Cancun for $261.47 (without carry-on & checked luggage)

What makes this such an appealing option is threefold: direct flight, short travel time, reasonable departures. Via eDreams, you'll board your direct Frontier Airlines flight F970 a tad early on Tuesday, August 1 leaving at 6:30 AM. The benefit here is your excellent arrival time to beautiful Cancun, Mexico at 11:30 AM; plenty of time to take in a wonderful first day in the Caribbean. After a nice 4-day vacation, Frontier flight F971 on Friday, August 4 at 12:35 PM will take you back stateside arriving at 3:41 PM. This is a fantastic departure as there is no need to wake up extra early to leave Mexico and it leaves you enough time once you arrive back in Denver to make the road trip home, if needed. Not to mention, you'll still have the whole weekend ahead of you!

San Juan for $297.40 (with carry-on)

While the travel time for this option is double the Cancun itinerary, you're also going all the way to Puerto Rico! For a nice long weekend thanks from our friends at Delta, take off Friday morning, August 25, and after a layover in Atlanta, you will find yourself in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the next 5 days! The outbound journey is broken up nicely into three 3-hour segments (2 flights, 1 layover); no long-haul flight here. Start your journey home Tuesday afternoon, August 29 at 3:05 PM. The journey pattern home will be similar to the outbound leg with three 3-hour segments again but this time with a layover in Detroit. You'll get home rather late, so maybe consider taking that Wednesday off to recover.

If you're reading this, please let me live through you and take one of these trips for the both of us! 🏖
