The Greatest Tool EVERY Traveller, Camper, Hiker, HUMAN Needs!

Today, I was sitting around thinking of what I could write about. This was coming as a bit of a struggle for me. I don't want to post anything if I don't want to write anything. This site is supposed to convey my passions, and if I can't be passionate about something I'm writing then I don't want to pass that garbage on to any of you readers. Well, as I was brainstorming possible topics to write on today an idea came to mind. What if I could write about an item, some physical, tangible object that I have, use, and value unlike any of my other possessions?

It's not my phone or wallet. It's not my vehicle or even my passport. This item is something much more important than any of those things: water. Well, what holds water. It isn't a YETI or Hydro Flask. It's not those water bottles you see all over TikTok saying they are "the coldest". What I believe to be the most valuable and priceless tool that any human being should invest in is a water bottle by LifeStraw

If you've never heard of LifeStraw before then let me brief you on this company. From years of research & product development, LifeStraw has created numerous products to help filter out harmful chemicals, bacteria, viruses, lead, plastics, parasites, etc. from water you can find in any environment on earth. This means, you can have access to safe drinking water virtually anywhere you go! On top of that, with each product they sell, LifeStraw provides clean water to a child in need for 1 year. People nowadays love supporting a business with a good cause and quite frankly, I can't think of a better cause than that. It doesn't matter if you're Elon Musk, Joe Shmoe, or the President of the United States, everybody needs water.

Now I have known about LifeStraw for years. I remember seeing the original LifeStraw in the camping section of one of America's biggest chain stores (take a guess) and thinking how handy that would be! You're out camping or hiking, perhaps have run out of water, have a water source nearby with an unknown purity, and are in need of some safe, usable water. To me, I thought this was a no-brainer. Every person should have this, right? There was literally no excuse.

News flash: I didn't get a LifeStraw. I put it off and put it off and put it off. Time and time again I would walk by camping sections and outdoors departments in various stores and would tell myself to just quit being such a cheapskate and buy one of these already. Flashforward to the other winter, I was fortunate enough to be gifted the LifeStraw Go for Christmas. Since then, I have not let this thing leave my side. I take this thing everywhere I go and whether I need the filter part or not, it is always nice to know my body is protected from various harmful contaminants that might be lurking in some water sources.

The best part is, there is literally something for everybody. Just take a look at their various products for sale online (yeah, click this > bleebleeblahblah < and it will take you right to what I'm talking about.) Aside from just the basic straw or plastic water bottle, you can get a home water pitcher, a universal straw for your favorite bottles, heavy duty options for families or large groups, and even a new stainless steel option!

It's simple. We all need water. Most of us want to consciously drink more water, so why not get something that will protect you as well as help kids in need. This by no means was a sales post (even though it very much sounded like one) but as I stated at the beginning, if I can't be passionate about what I'm writing then you won't see it. I'm passionate about LifeStraw. I believe they have an excellent mission and an excellent product. Their products are more than just a fad name brand or trendy fashion statement, and their prices are super reasonable for what it's actually providing you.

Before you go, I'm curious to know: do you have a LifeStraw and if not, what are you drinking from? (Comment down below!)
